Agnetha Faltskog
Agnetha has more fame due to her role in ABBA instead of as a solo singer from Sweden. ABBA was one of the largest pop group ever, both commercially and globally. When she left school at the age of 15, Agnetha Faltskog began singing with Bernt Enghardt's group, and quickly gained fans. The singer was signed to a record deal with Enghardt. Her debut single topped the charts in Sweden. Bjorn married her, and they joined ABBA. ABBA would go on to become one of the biggest music groups around the globe during the subsequent 8 years. They won numerous awards that included gold and platinum, all over the world. Following ABBA the group released three albums 'Wrap Your Arms Around Me', Eyes of a Woman' And I Stand Alone'. Each of them was hugely successful in Sweden. The band were also popular throughout Europe. But they were not a major hit on the American scene. ABBA music became the base for the jukebox musical Mamma Mia!. In the U.K., 'My Coloring Book" reached number eleven. The latest album "A," has been well-received.
